Finding Rest

Dear Brothers and Sisters of NLC, peace be with you.

Are you weary and heavy laden, weighed down by the cares of this world? Matthew 11:28 – “Come to me, all who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Only Christ can truly satisfy our hearts; only in Him can we find peace and renewal! This week, I’d like to share with you about Deacon Lisa’s reflection and gratitude during her silent retreat – “Day with Jesus”.

I encourage you to intentionally set aside half a day or a day in your busy schedule to spend time alone with Jesus. Choose a quiet place, take time to draw near to God through worship, scripture reading, prayer, and meditation. You will experience true spiritual rest. Have a blessed week!
