II. Rooting & Establishing (1971–2004) 扎根建造期

From 1971 to 2004, Newton Life Church deepened its spiritual roots and expanded its ministries and infrastructure.

1971年至2004年间，纽顿生命堂深化属灵根基，拓展事工与硬件建设

Pastoral Leadership: Rev Li En Xin focused on discipleship, prayer, and evangelism, growing the church significantly and raising future pastors. Rev Yu Chun Yuen strengthened spiritual foundations through Bible classes and worship. Rev Choo Yee Kee, who has served faithfully since 1984, led elderly ministries, pastoral care, and Teochew outreach, later becoming Coordinating and Chinese Lead Pastor. Pastor Cheng Sim Heng served devotedly, especially among sisters and small groups, until her passing in 2013.

教牧团队：
李恩新牧师专注于门徒训练、祷告与布道，教会大大成长，并栽培出未来牧者。余振源牧师透过圣经班与敬拜坚固属灵根基。邹怡基牧师自1984年起忠心服事，带领乐龄事工、关怀牧养与潮语福音事工，后来成为协调牧师与华语主理牧师。郑心平传道全心投入姐妹与小组事工，直至2013年安息主怀。

Ministry Growth: The church established nine key ministries and six fellowships, focusing on discipleship, care, and spiritual maturity. Regular visitations and Gospel Sundays fostered community and outreach.

事工发展：
教会设立了九大核心事工和六个团契，聚焦门徒训练、关怀与灵命成长。定期探访与福音主日强化社区连结。

Infrastructure Development: The Main Sanctuary (completed in 1991) and the Annex Building (dedicated in 2004) were major milestones, providing space for worship, education, and pastoral housing. Through faithful service and God’s grace, the church was firmly rooted and built up for future growth. All glory to God!

硬体建设：
1991年正堂落成与2004年副堂献堂，为崇拜、教育及牧者住宿提供空间。藉着忠心的服事与上帝的恩典，教会茁壮成长，一切荣耀归神！
